100 dagar av behov och begär

In an age and place where the home is central in creating identity, it seems important that designers and co-creators of this new type of consumerism, on one level, also examine and analyse the different meanings behind this type of socialisation.

By removing all of the furniture and objects that were in the apartment which I live in, along with my partner and our child, and thereafter creating new things based on our needs and/or desires, I have explored what we feel we need, and why.

This project aims to highlight and question the material culture that characterises the home environment, while at the same time criticising the construction of the home as a potential symbol of social status.
